Having myself had both group and one to one supervision after a number of different training courses, I have always most enjoyed being in a group. I found I learned a huge amount from other people’s experiences and ways of doing things and benefitted from sharing ideas, suggestions and resources with peers, as well as the group leader.
This is what I want to make available to those who are currently starting out as yoga therapists. Although I will be the facilitator, everyone will be invited, but not obliged to contribute. It is also cheaper than one to one supervision. The fee for the 2 hours is £30 each. Thus, should only one person attend you will actually get one to one supervision at a cheaper rate than normal.
Numbers are limited to 4 people so each participant can have the floor for up to 30 minutes. Ideas on how to work with specific clients will be the main focus, but all other aspects of working as a yoga therapist are welcome. So you can attend even if you do not have any clients to discuss.
