  1. A 30 minute, complete, 8 stage Yoga Nidra, with nature sounds in the background. This is a guided relaxation and meditation / visualisation, which can be done lying down, as a deep relaxation or sitting up as a meditation. It guides you through the levels of being (the koshas); the physical body, awareness of breathing and the energy body, mind and emotions, imagination and intuition and the witnessing consciousness of being.
    Yoga Nidra is also useful, both to help improve quality of sleep and to deeply rest, in order to help make up for lack of sleep.
    It is usually very suitable as a deep healing practice, but it may not be appropriate in some cases of severe depression or psychosis.
  2. A 10 minute guided physical relaxation and awareness of the pranic / energy body. This is especially good for releasing tension in the muscles and as preparation for sleep, meditation, or as a energy replenishing pick-me-up.
